A query such as “red dress” returns thousands of results. An image adds visual context about silhouette, length, colour, and details. Lace Riot combines it with trusted catalogue context.

We search the outfit. Not you.
Your photo is needed to create a try-on preview, but not to search for products. These are separate data flows.

OpenAI receives the selected outfit reference, not the photo containing your face or body.

The server sends this search with
store=false. Provider security and abuse-monitoring retention may still apply. - 03Cited sources
The app extracts cited URLs so you can inspect where each result came from.

Similar does not mean identical.
A result can resemble the inspiration but use different materials, construction, photography, or a different seller. Search shortens the path to candidates; it does not replace checking the listing.
